I just checked the site and i found windows server 2008 RC, free? is this really free? and what is it for? can i do web hosting there or something?

I don’t have a field specifically that want to know about, I just want a new thread to study. Please don’t just give me a link, summarize the article as well. I know quite a bit, but I just want to expand. If need be look at some of my best answers.

Anyway, the person that gives me the most intriguing information will get the 10 points. I tell you this so that you don’t think that I will take the answers and run.

PS. Please don’t tell me which AV or proxy is the best. That isn’t what I want to know. Tell me about TCP/IP insecurities or MITM attacks on ssh and ssl, things like that. Just something fun.

PSS. And no, I have no intentions to go “hack” (crack) my neighbor’s wifi.

PLEASE HELP!!

I am able to log-in and then it acts like it is going to work and then it just closes completely. I’ve contacted my ISP to get the proxy server and port information but I don’t use a proxy server. I’ve used the yahoo messenger page and that didn’t work either. Any help at this point would be appreciated.

I have root access and everything, but I’m new to server configuration and would like some pointers… Maybe someone can point me to a good website describing the basics of web admin with apache? But for right now, I especially need how to tell the version of Apache I’m running and where on the server the configuration files are located.

I found this one: https://webproxy.kaxy.com

It briefly claims to delete its browsing logs instantly, but how do we know whether it’s the truth, and whether or not they will turn the logs over to the RIAA or a lawyer upon request? Costs 5 bucks a month.

Another one: http://findnot.com/sales

A LOT OF PROPAGANDA ON THAT PAGE!!!

Claims (with a LOT of emphasis) to delete browsing logs after 5 days, that a legal request cannot be filed within 5 days of you visiting that page (IT CAN!!!) Anyway, WHY SHOULD THEY KEEP THE LOGS FOR 5 DAYS, instead of deleting them instantly or after 5 minutes?

Maybe the logs are permanent; maybe they get turn into the RIAA… (Note that this one says you can do P2P anonymously… sounds like an RIAA lure… 20 pages of propaganda smell suspicious…)

What if those 2 proxies are alies with RIAA???

My question: Do you think these proxies are honest or not?

Can I use them?

Please analyze this information.
i wanna download torrents. Is it safe to use proxy?

I am new to asp/aspx programming, I am fairly proficient with JavaScript, but server side is still a mystery. I have an aspx script, but the server side script just spits out the text in a document.write like page. how do I configure my apache server to accept and handle aspx files?

There was a disk failure on one of the two disks on our remote linux web servers. The provider says it’s not a big deal but I told them to replace the disk. They are going to replaced the disk but I want to know for sure that they have done it. Is there a way for me to tell that the new disk was installed by looking at a hardware specification accessible from a linux prompt to compare pre and post installation of the new disk?

Other than searching the ip/proxy on a proxy site or looking up it up with google or another search engine (as sometimes even if it is a proxy it won’t always show up by searching) what other possible ways are there to tell whether a person is posting at a forum with their real ip or using a proxy?

Are there any Microsoft Websites where I can enter my serial key for Windows Server 2008 or 2003 to check it’s validity before installing the software?

Or, can I install it on my computer as dual boot, and go to install it, enter the key, and if it continues to the next page (before installing it) will that make it not work in the future? Or does it disable it once it installs the software? Thanks.
