My brother today got a new eMachines laptop from best buy now and I tried putting in the exact information from my toshiba into that eMacine. When I tried to send an email myself though after I clicked the Send and Receive button, it shows it almost fully loading and then it says there’s a problem connecting to the smtp server which is on there and my Toshiba laptop smtp.att.yahoo.com . Is there something I need to change? Both laptops are using the same email address rnnad@sbcglobal.net that my whole family uses. How come the eMachine laptop doesn’t let me send any emails and it says it won’t work? Both laptops both have Windows Vista Home Basic. There is nothing wrong with Vista and it rocks but how come I can’t send emails with the eMachine in Windows Mail? I’ve got the news group connected but still how do I get that eMachine to send emails?
