I’m getting my MCSA in Systems Administration and need to take my Windows Server exam but not sure which Server exam to take:
Should I take the Windows Server 2003 / 70-290
or should I take the Windows Server 2008 route?
I’m confused which is the way to go, and does one replace the other?
I work for a non-profit that has about twelve PCs attached to a Server 2003 domain. We are going to have to build it out to more attached units (20-25). Most of the older PCs use XP Pro, but new units are likely to have Windows 7. The current server runs Quickbooks Premier with several users and functions as a file server. What, if any, are compelling reasons to upgrade to Server 2008?
I need to run Windows Terminal server. Do I need to have windows server in order to do that?
I am assuming that I probably do….in which case, should I buy 2008 or is 2003 perfectly adequate.
Honestly, I only need it so that I can run software on 7 remote computers which happens to be Mac.

i installed windows server 2003 and then i downloaded service pack 2 from microsoft site ,is it ok now?do i need to download anything else ?any patches?
