Trying to do the following: DSL Modem > 24-port Switch > Linksys WRT54GS wireless router. I also have a windows 2003 server that handles all the network stuff (DNS, DCHP and so on). In other words, the Linksys wireless router is connected to the 24-port switch in gateway mode… Is it possible to do that? Wireless devices can connect to the wireless router, but they can not access the internet or ping the router… wireless signal is strong and it even ask for the wireless password key…
Anyone know of a guide or have similar experiences? Do I need to tell windows 2003 server that the wireless router is there and it should know it? Help Please :)
Thank you for the answer so far… but I would really prefer to add the wireless router to the switch… Is that a possible option? Cheers

I can connect to a data polling computer through the router using Windows XP’s remote desktop connection. I can connect to the router remotely. I can poll the datalogger remotely. I can create .asp files locally. I can connect locally to the server using Frontpage 2003. I have setup the router to direct port 80 to the server. I’ve been trying to do all that is suggested in various net searches. If someone can recommend a book, I will appreciate it. The linksys router has four ports. One port is used by the polling computer ruunning Windows XP Pro. The second is used by the datalogger. The third port is used by a Dell server.

I want to setup Linux CentOS 5.3 server from home and install everything needed to host a websites from home. I currently have dynamic IP but it stays the same as long as I do not unplug my cable modem for a long time.
I did simple install of CentOs using defaults but when I try to input my IP it directs me to Linksys setup screen and asks for admin password. Anyone can help me out here?

I’ll have an application running in Linux Server, and I’ll have to establish a secure connection between both for to encrypt the information trough the tunnel.
