I have a new drive in the server to replace the system drive but can’t use the drive removal wizard to remove the system drive. Anyone have any ideas? My system drive is currently a 1tb with 2 partitions – One for the OS and the rest for data stores. I’d like to get away from this and have data only on one drive and the OS on another. I can.
I have a Dell laptop that I don’t really use anymore.
It has Windows XP Pro installed in it.
I was thinking to install a Windows Server 2003 on it.
Can I do that?
If yes, how to do it? Do I need to format the HDD first or can I just install the Win Server 2003 on top of the XP Pro?
Thanks,
Replace a failed drive in Linux RAID
Tech Republic: “A few weeks ago I had the distinct displeasure of waking up to a series of emails indicating that a series of RAID arrays on a remote system had degraded. The remote system was still running, but one of the hard drives was pretty much dead.”
