I am using Windows 7 and I’m running a remote desktop connection via a VPN server. Now let’s say I want to open a Word document on that server with MS Word on my own computer without downloading it. Is it possible? How?
can anyone give me a bit of detail on this because i need it for an assignment and i cant find anything on it, to say exactly what it is and what it does.
I have someone in another state that logs into my server and then to my accounting software. He needs to be able to print to his local printer at his home while logged into my accounting software.
What do I need to do on my server, step by step to accomplish this.

I am unable to log on to Windows 2003 server via remote desktop when someone else is logged in. I received the following pop up message.
“the terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of connections.” However when the other person is logged out, I am able to logon without any issues. FYI, we are both administrators.When one the person tries to connect to the my session, the I am logged off.
No. We tried that and I am aware of that. Any other suggestions please.
I can’t change the max # of connections above 2 but the company providing the server says that there is a way to get a 3rd connection i can’t seem to figure out how though. Can anyone please help me

I need the ability to kick off users from remote desktop from my 2003 server. I know how to log into the 3rd connection using command line– but that does not do much good if that gets locked out as well. I saw a way to do it via command line, but i know there is also a way to do it within windows. Help appreciated.
