These videos cover how set up your network for booting. I used pfSense and Freenas to do the setup for the servers. used Ubuntu 8.04 for the actual booted OS. I had speaking issues and nothing is really in order, I will probably redo it eventually. Here are the files I used in the video: pxelinux.0 – www.mediafire.com boot.txt – www.mediafire.com default – www.mediafire.com

I am looking for a free network information manager that I can use on my local area network with 2-3 computers.

The computer I will use as the server (host machine) has:

Internet Information Services for Windows XP Pro,
Windows XP Pro Ver. 2002 SP2,
Macromedia Dreamweaver 8,
Microsoft FrontPage 2003.

The Information Manager should include:

1). Notes/journal
2). Address books
3). Lists (including task lists/to do lists)
4). Calendar (including Appointments and meeting
Reminders, birthdays, etc)

I should be able to access all of the above from any of the computers.

Thanks!!

We have around 50 machines and we need to block the USB and CDROM access to the users alone. The administrators can access it, thats no problem. I’m searching for a tool. We’re using windows 2003 server.
Any information would be valuable. Thank you.

Not sure what computer platform requirements are necessary to use a network linux server for Fedora 2 if needed to be compatible? I’m trying to ask what is involved and what are the steps for this type of setup. What commands are needed. I’m running Linux fedora 2 from cd on top of windows vista. Whats the best website to download the server at if requirements are meet, am I going about doing this whole deal wrong? Once the server is operating what are some good tips of what I could do with the server and how do I do it?
