When I search the web for proxy servers I find a lot of sites but most of the proxy servers are already dead. Does anybody know a proxy server list that`s updated regularly?

Say I wanted to browse anonymously, I know there’s website like proxies4free.com that provide a list of proxies and ports you can use to mask your ip address. My question to you is, is it safe?

If I do online banking / data transfers / or just stored important information on online servers, are those proxie servers routing my information to another system where it potentially could be logged/stolen?

As above, we need a good fresh site which contains a list which is updated with the newest proxies.

Something along the lines of a web based proxy hub?

It must be free although we do not mind if we have to register for an account.

im trying to do a project in my class but they have blocked all the sites that I need to get all my information from. does anyone know how I can bypass being blocked with any good proxy sites?
