I m not able to get into sites like gmail, orkut, youtube etc. i suppose some 1 has hacked into my pc and has blocked those sites or it is the work of a virus. plus i don’t trust proxy sites because of it’s lack of safety and they may steal my password and information. what should i do?
I want to ssh into multiple machines and choose option 1 from the menu driven linux interface.
I have 4 computers. I would like to use one as the server (windows xp pro installed). I would like for anyone to be able to log onto any computer and have internet access, their personal settings, and store their files on the server. Other forums and question tell me how to setup networks. I already have all the computers connected, but they are still seperate computers on a network. Please help me with a step by step process or guid me to a resourse to find the information I need. Thanks in advance!
I would like to know in the past who has logged into a particular Windows Server 2003 machine. In Linux, I would use the command “last”, and I would like similar information: username, source (IP address), start time, and either length or end time.
Most users log in using terminal services, but some use the console.
Unless you know something I don’t about the event viewer, it is not viable because it has too much junk in it. I see frequent logins from tons of users who don’t have RDP/console access to the system. I think whenever these users access the system via DCOM (or something like that), it creates an event viewer entry.
I would like to surf anonymously. Where do I go on my PC to change this information?
