i mean when i install a linux server version, what information can i access thro the server logs about the clients?im intending to do a project on tracking the user sessions for a set of webpages and reconstructing their paths and all such statistics like visit lenghts, their ip addresses by getting the information from the logs and writing cgi or php scripts.. this is a final year project… is this feasible? i mean will it involve enough work to be a project or is the work too less for a final yr project.. can i complete it within a span of 3 months. 4 of us are doing it… i wanted to know how much info is already available in the logs and how much more we need to do.. we want to output graphical statistics for the no. or users using it during a time span…
