I have a netgear router, and wireless network set up. My server is set to be part of “workgroup” as is my vista laptop, vista desktop. My Apple is set to a network called “roberts.” When I got to my network places on my vista machines I can see the other vista machine and the apple computer but not the server. I go to entire windows network and still cannot reach the server. I have all firewalls turned off. I the router set up with port forwarding to allow for remote connections. I enabled the remote desktop and can access my server from vista but not vista from the server. Any ideas?
My school has most proxy’s blocked. I wanna get on myspace. Any idea’s??

I use a proxy server through a VPN connection when connecting to work. I have a direct connection to the internet for personal use. When I switch between work and home my messenger account will not login even after correctly setting my proxy information. I’d like to be able to have messenger running while working it does not accept my proxy. To verify that my proxy is set correctly, I created a new ID and was able to login without any trouble. But once I switched to a direct connection and tried to go back to the proxy, messenger gave me a message that I could not login. Has anyone else solved this issue in the past?
