Hi, my hard drive recently wouldn’t start Windows and our backup appears to have failed recently. Is there a very simple way to copy all the active directory, domain controller, logon scripts etc from the old hard drive and make them active on the new drive?

I have 3 SCSI hard drives from a Microsoft Windows 2003 server with lots of important information on them but no SCSI adaptable computer/server to extract the data. Should i buy a SCSI controller and connect the drives through my desktop on a SCSI controller or will gay windows want to reformat before even trying to read my data? Please help this is important information…

I can’t seem to find information on this anywhere :-/ I need to install Windows Server 2003 on my external drive so I can run WSS.

I will be getting my own dedicated server soon and while I have a functional knowledge of the concepts of Linux, I don’t know everything. Will my server be reasonably secure if I am sure to keep everything updated and patched (assume there are no PHP scripts vulnerable to SQL injection etc.)
