I have been using proxy switcher for a wile now but a friend of mine asked me if proxy switcher really work to prevent hackers from getting your computer information or email and messenger passwords,

please help him out, i really wanna help him but i dont wanna give him the wrong answer,
also is there a proxy switcher than can be used for AIM,MSN,or Yahoo messenger?
