what are the domain functional levels in Windows Server 2003?

The Best Quality to watch this video is 1080p HD, Expand and Full Screen. www.PcTechStream.com FIRST Install a writable domain controller that runs Windows Server 2008. To install an additional domain controller, you must be a member of the Enterprise Admins group or the Domain Admins group. An RODC must replicate domain updates from a writable domain controller that runs Windows Server 2008. Before you install an RODC, be sure to install a writable domain controller that runs Windows Server 2008 in the same domain. http

Ok so this is the first time I ever attempt to install windows server 2003 but because I consider myself tech savy im giving it a try. So i installed windows server 2003 onto a server computer and then installed a active directory to it. Now i don’t really understand the whole “dns” setup(forward zone, backzone, everything…) I thought i set up the dns correctly because the wizard finished. However when I go to another computer and select join domain it can’t find the network. My network setup is as follows: DSL static ip connection straight to netgear router. Server and other (3)computers connected to the router. So basically I need help getting the computers to “read” my network which is probably a dns problem I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated just keep in mind I already tried the program entitled “windows server 2003 simulator” and have looked about everywhere i can think of on the internet for help. Thank you in advance! you can email me at fastasamuthur@netscape.net
