I have successfully set up the my documents account on users on the domain… (\\posserver\docs\USERNAME HERE).’ What I want to do is prevent users from accessing the directory above that (\\posserver\docs). Is there a way to share the folder with a variable or some other solution with the permissions??? I need nerds!!! lol
I use a proxy server through a VPN connection when connecting to work. I have a direct connection to the internet for personal use. When I switch between work and home my messenger account will not login even after correctly setting my proxy information. I’d like to be able to have messenger running while working it does not accept my proxy. To verify that my proxy is set correctly, I created a new ID and was able to login without any trouble. But once I switched to a direct connection and tried to go back to the proxy, messenger gave me a message that I could not login. Has anyone else solved this issue in the past?
