Looking to purchase a new server and spec it up. Getting conflicting ansers as to whether or not this can be used. Was told if I installed second quad processor windows will not be able to use it. Does it need to be the 64 bit version to utilise 2 quad core processors.
I want to if there is any Desktop pc mother board avalible in market which is compatible with microsoft windows server 2003 .

I would like to run my own web server but I don’t want to deal with being hacked all the time. I know linux is significantly more stable than MS security wise, but still…how much security stuff do I have to do in order to secure my server?
