Here is a update on the computer systems I have been working on getting ready and the new look of the room.
Actually im have a LAN with Windows server 2003 but im need connect other computer with Windows Server 2003 and this it a works as DNS Server. (intranet)
Tanks!
Who i cant to Connect a computer With Server 2003 and use this as DNS Server on
Ok so this is the first time I ever attempt to install windows server 2003 but because I consider myself tech savy im giving it a try. So i installed windows server 2003 onto a server computer and then installed a active directory to it. Now i don’t really understand the whole “dns” setup(forward zone, backzone, everything…) I thought i set up the dns correctly because the wizard finished. However when I go to another computer and select join domain it can’t find the network. My network setup is as follows: DSL static ip connection straight to netgear router. Server and other (3)computers connected to the router. So basically I need help getting the computers to “read” my network which is probably a dns problem I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated just keep in mind I already tried the program entitled “windows server 2003 simulator” and have looked about everywhere i can think of on the internet for help. Thank you in advance! you can email me at fastasamuthur@netscape.net
We just had a new cable run, so that we could move a computer to a less crowded spot of the office, and now Windows Server 2003 won’t recognize it. How would I go about setting this up?

I know this has to be possible somehow, can anyone help. I want to access my server through remote desktop, but it’s a windows computer/server and I’m using a Mac.
It uses Vista by the way
After a server has been set up how do you connect clients to that server over a LAN? Do you have to install extra software? Is a LAN the best way to connect the systems or should I use some other method of connecting computers to the server?
I want to install Windows 2003 server in my PC, really have no idea, how can I do that?
You are the administrator of a Windows Server 2003 computer named W2k3-01Srv
Newly hired employees recently started storing files on W2k3-01Srv. Now users report that
W2k3-01Srv is responding much slower than it did before the additional users were added.
You suspect the disk subsystem needs to be upgraded to accommodate the additional
user load.
You need to confirm whether the disk subsystem on W2k3-01Srv needs to be upgraded.
What should you do?
Hello! How can I connect a new computer to an existent server, so it can connect to the server shared folders, say in the “O:” (which is where all the shared folders are located). The desktop computers will communicate wireless; that is, using Windows Server 2003/Windows XP Professional. Thanks in advance!!!
