So my sister’s internet on her windows vista isn’t working. We found out it was because of the proxy server and we need to verify it. So I went to internet explorer > tools > internet options > connections > LAN settings > Advanced to find the server and port number to put into the command window to try to fix it but it says the numbers are invalid or something. I don’t know how to find the correct port numbers and stuff. Help?
I have already got a script to move and rename the files i just need to go back and delete them. Using DEL at the command prompt is no good due the file in use problem. Any help Thanks!!!!
PS- The wmic and the wevtutil do not work on this sever and I can not add any software to this system.
