I want to run PHP on my computer, mostly just so I can test it and learn it in a hands-on way. I’m not planning on turning my computer into a server; I just need the practice so I can pursue web development as a career.
Can I run Apache Web Server in Standby or hibernation? If not, is there anyway I could run the server without leaving my computer on all day? Like is there some low power mode I can set for my computer, that apache will still run on? Im hosting a website, and I dont want to spend to much energy hosting it.
Wait, I tried running apache in hibnernation, and it didnt work. And what do you mean by using more computer resources? as long as it doesnt take up jmore power, im good.

When I download Apache Web Server, there is no “setup.exe” file, just a bunch of C and CPP files. Where can I download a simple applicaton to install Apache? Id really like to know. Thank you!
What the title says. How to restart a apache server on a remote location in a fast way. Or any other application running as a service.
