not that we know of. (i say that because if the gov’t was blocking sites, they’d have to hide the fact, because people here pride themselves on their supposed “freedom.”) i have heard that the US government does participate in some hacking of sites they consider to be “security risks,” but it’s not something that the mainstream knows much about or would approve of.
They don’t tell you… but trust me, every country has some kind of censorship. Regarding porno sites: No, America doesn’t have any problem with those.
Anti-American sites will be considered terrorist sites and blocked.

By the way… they listen to your telephone conversation.. the will find out which IP address I am logged in from… etc…. etc…
The US does not control the internet access like other countries do. Individual ISP may do it but there is no big firewall that the US operates to block anything.
The US government does not block websites. They may, however, monitor traffic to websites and investigate people who visit sites they don’t like. I don’t think that the FBI knocking your door down and searching your house is any better than blocking websites, but it allows them to preserve the dillusion that if you’ve done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear from illegal government searches.
