If you run a proxy on the same computer you’re going to use it from, all you’re doing is slowing your internet connection down – you’re still at the same address.
In order to be at a different address, you need to have your server hosted on another computer – preferably one connected to the internet through a different provider, or even in another country.
(You’re not helping any kids by teaching them how to avoid bans and/or blocks, unless you’re doing it because your country is blocking parts of the internet – and who wants to get involved in a legal can of worms with a government?)
