Someone said that you cannot use windows vista (home) over your network (ie: windows server 2003) is this true?

    Vista home edition does not allow joining to a domain. You can however run it in workgroup.

    Well you have to buy the Operatin’ System CD if you wanna have the 2003 server on your PC.

    No that is not true – you can use Windows Vista Home with W2003 Server. The Windows “Home Server” software is built on a W2003 server platform, so yes it will work. I have PC’s running Vista and connected to a W2003 Server and others connecting to a Windows “Home Server” and I have not had any issues.
